Gwen Thomas

Associate Director, Human Resources, Finance & Administration

Gwen serves as Associate Director of Business and Project Management. Whether in front of a customer or behind the scenes — locally or internationally — her organizational skills, keen attention to detail and coordinated execution achieve results with distinction.

Prior to her career in the biotech industry, Gwen worked in IT and non-profit development. Her first role in the public health field was as an executive administrator with pharmaceutical startup Spyryx Biosciences. Prior to joining Aceragen, Gwen worked at Project Data Sphere, independent, not-for-profit initiative of the CEO Roundtable on Cancer where she spearheaded partnered symposiums with FDA’s Oncology Center of Excellence. At the onset of the COVID-19 outbreak, she facilitated the “Maintaining Oncology Clinical Trial Integrity During the Covid-19 Pandemic” with speakers from the FDA, Amgen, Pfizer, and Janssen. She holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Georgia.
